helping to make a difference...similar to the scene on the
southeastern shore of Australia...
Where thousands of starfish washed ashore and were left to dry up and
die in the heat of the sun.
Early one morning a man who was staying nearby was out jogging along
the shore. He came upon a young boy frantically trying to save the
starfish by throwing them back into the ocean.
The jogger, curious,
stopped and asked the boy, "I see what you’re doing, but do you
really think it will make any difference?" The boy paused for a
brief moment and replied, "I don’t know, Mister, but I think it
will make a difference to this one."
